Sunday 6 March 2016. 10 of us turned out today for Josephine’s 6.9 mile walk from Shouldham Warren. It was a bright morning and even quite warm when we could get out of the breeze. We set off along the tracks in Shouldham Warren and headed out along the Nar Valley Way, stopping for coffee alongside the River Nar and looking out towards Pentney Abbey. The second leg of the walk was a little boring as we followed the course of the river for a couple of miles and then a little over a mile on the road to Wormegay.
We stopped for lunch at the Stone Cross in Wormegay before making our way back through the woods of Shouldham Warren to the cars. A photo opportunity was taken at a small bridge at the junction of Petticoat Lane Drain and Black Drain.
