Holme-next-the-Sea

Sunday 12 October 2014. 10 of us assembled for today’s 7 mile walk from Holme-next-the-Sea. It was a foggy drive to the coast and a misty start to the walk but it soon brightened up as the sun broke through. We stopped for coffee on the beach just past Gore Point and for lunch just after joining the Peddars Way outside Ringstead.

Shortly after coffee we bumped into Sue & Cavin and other members of the King’s Lynn group who were walking from Courtyard Farm. It turned out to be quite a warm day and the 170ft climb from the beach to the trig point near Beacon Hill had us all stripping off layers of clothing.
