Dacre “Walls” Walk

Saturday 12 July 2014. Another warm sunny morning so I opted for a shorter walk today. It was only 6 miles with 750ft of ascent. Starting from the Darley Mill Centre the route was a large circuit of Dacre Pasture. As the title suggests, there were many dry stone walls to cross, some with gates but there were 16 which involved climbing steps up one side and down again on the other side. Not too bad as I was on my own but I wouldn’t like to lead a group on this route.
