Bromyard Downs & Bringsty Common

Tuesday 10 June 2014. Bea had the day off as rain was forecast around noon so I decided to make an early (9:15) start to my walk from Bromyard Downs. It turned out to be 8.6 miles with 1,400ft of ascent. I’d only walked a mile or so before I came upon the cafe at the NT’s Brockhampton Estate. Whilst it was still early, I took the chance for a quick coffee and scone. As can be seen from the pictures, this walk provided some great views to Titterstone Clee Hill in the north and the Malverns, 6 miles away from Bringsty Common to the south. I’d finished the walk by 1:30pm and the rains didn’t come until 3:00pm.
