Sunday 2nd February. 11 of us turned out for Sue’s walk starting from “The Sincks”, just to the west of Shouldham Warren. 3 of us had the benefit of GPS but none of them gave the same reading for the distance of the walk which varied from 7.5 to 8.4 miles. Whatever, it was a super sunny Sunday and it was great to be out in the countryside again.
Leaving the Sincks, we headed north through Westbriggs Wood towards Wormegay. Along the way we saw a herd of Water Buffalo, an unusual sight in these parts. A “brief” coffee stop was made in Wormegay before we turned south for a circuit around the eastern perimeter of Shouldham Warren, stopping “briefly” again for lunch at the playing fields in Shouldham village.
The last leg of the walk took us via LingHills and back through the woods to our cars.
