Hampton and Colkirk Circular

This walk on a very hot day saw ten members of the Fenland ramblers group and friends enjoy this slower paced walk. The scenery was mostly fields of oats and barley growing tall. At one point of the walk the nettles had overgrown on the path and with no alternative route those of us wearing long trousers trod the nettles down as we walked between the two field in a small woodland. The wild grasses had grown very tall , but a pleasant walk on tracks and roads was a different route from the church done before and at the end the tea room at the garden centre was our last stop before leaving for home.
