Monday walk from Leeds

Following on from my surprise Birthday Party, Wayne and I spent Monday in Leeds.

The idea was to attempt Simon’s Seat as we would not have to go far from Leeds.

We parked at a small parking area to avoid paying parking charges and we set off .The weather stayed fine and after making a detour for the tea room we headed towards the waterfall called Posforth Gills Falls in the Valley of Desolation. When we set off from here we came across a fallen tree which we had to go under, ( see photos)

When we arrived at the trig point the views were of rolling green hills. From here we returned back to the car completing the circular walk.
