A false start this morning – the road to my intended walk was closed and the weather wasn’t that great. So, just after lunch, I headed off to Edale for a 7½ mile walk with 1,850ft of ascent which took me to Gridslow Knoll and then along the edge of Kinder and down Jacob’s Ladder. The last couple of miles followed the Pennine Way back to Edale. It turned out to be a lovely afternoon and a great walk.
