Today it was the second & highest of Yorkshire’s Three Peaks (2,415ft).

The route was 8.25 miles with 1,700ft of ascent starting at the foot of the Ribblead Viaduct. It was a fairly gentle climb but the route down was much steeper. The wind on top was so strong that I had difficulty standing up.
There were lots of walkers doing the 3 Peaks challenge – not for me.
