Tetford walk

Today's walk was in The Wolds of Lincolnshire.

??Although 9 walkers met up at the car park in Wisbech two did not get to the start at Tetford although we delayed the walk for some 30 minutes or so.

Just 7 members began the walk going through the graves in the church yard which was part of a Roman path. The day started with a little chill in the air and we hoped to see the sun later in the day.

The walk took us over well defined paths most of the way only one field was ploughed?? with steep furrows where the path had not yet been reinstated.

The sun did appear for a short spell in the afternoon. On the whole well worth the journey from Wisbech.

??A most enjoyable walk to be repeated in summer or autumn but with little shelter would be for hardy folks in the depths of winter.

Anyone know what the boxes/ pillars are in number 20?
