Wavering Down & Crook Peak

Is it a coincidence that now that Karen & Barry have gone home, the fine sunny & warm weather has arrived?  Today was a lovely day although the morning had a chill westerly wind from the sea.  The walk was 6 miles and 900ft across Wavering Down (685ft) and Crook Peak (620ft).  A steady climb to the twin summit was rewarded with views across the Somerset levels to the coast and Weston-super-Mare.  The view in the pic is looking from the descent from Crook Peak towards Cheddar.
