Dent

Monday’s walk was a 6 miler with 900 feet of ascent based in and around Dent.  The morning started cloudy and cold so we decided to visit the village tea shop for a warm drink and bacon butty before setting off on the walk.  From Dent, we made the steep climb up Flinters Gill before turning west on a high level but easy track.  We then descended to the banks of the River Dee to follow the Dales Way back to Dent.
